Tom traveled to Boston, MA to perform at a private booking (Happy 60th Birthday!).
We hope everyone is having a great summer so far. There are plenty of weeks remaining, so make the most of it by visiting, BBQing, and doing what you can do best in the warm weather.

On July 17 (Saturday) Tom and I will be traveling with the band to Olean NY. Tom will perform two shows as Neil Diamond at an outdoor Church festival.

The fireworks were awesome last night - one of the best we've ever seen.
And there is another display scheduled this evening.

Today and yesterday Tom performed as Neil Diamond, along with his band from upstate NY, at the Mohegan Sun Casino. I will be staying home to hold down the fort and to take care of the business end of this partnership we call "Tom Sadge". Later, I hope, I'll have time to join the crew for a little fun. But the lovely Rita, Tom's mother, will be there at the casino and at the show. She's 85 years, loves to gamble, and if there is a good time going on you'll find her nearby. What a gal!

In total, Tom performed 4 shows - all sold out. This is the first time that Tom has performed in his "backyard" with the complete Neil Diamond impersonation.

Tom is practicing a few rooms away as I work on my own business in the office. The song? Shiloh. "Shiloh when I was young..."
Tom is busy getting ready for his upcoming sold-out performances (June 15 & 16/ 2 shows each day) at Mohegan Sun Casino in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
We apologize to those of you who could not get tickets to these very special performances. This will mark the first time Tom has performed as a Neil Diamond impersonator in his own home area! Everyone is so excited. Check for photos near the end of June!

In the meantime, if you live in or near Whiting NJ (or if you love to drive), please purchase a ticket to see Tom Sadge perform as Neil Diamond on the evening of July 23, 2010.
Two other impersonators (Elvis & Barbra Streisand) will also perform.
This show if a fundraiser to benefit the Whiting NJ Food Pantry.

Marion and Therese picked me up at the AVP airport (just outside of Scranton PA) after my flight landed. The weather could not have been more perfect: 80 degrees.
I was returning from a performance for the Portland ME Sea Dogs fans. The elder President Bush has a home there with Barbara and frequently attends a game, but he wasn't there this time.
The Portland Sea Dogs are a great team, and everyone associated with the team went out of their way to make my third appearance there a success.

"We started getting all sorts of DVDs and links and press packages and listening to them across the country. Some of them are local," Alovis said. "We have a track record that we don't want to let people down and we wanted to bring in the best artist."

COUNTING MY BLESSINGS...

Early in my career, I worked away from home for weeks at a time at production shows. It was good experience, but difficult on my family life.
I thank God that I am in demand for many private appearances, private parties and limited engagement shows.
These private bookings mean less time away from by beloved family: Marion, Therese and Fred & his new wife, Katrina.
