Boca Raton FL Fundraiser
On Feb. 13, 2010 I will perform at Temple Beth Shira in W. Boca FL.
The Sun Sentinel recently ran this article on the fundraiser and my appearance:
"They (fundraiser organizers) researched his (Neil Diamond's) tribute artists by contacting agents. "We started getting all sorts of DVDs and links and press packages and listening to them across the country. Some of them are local," Alovis said. "We have a track record that we don't want to let people down and we wanted to bring in the best artist."
Tickets: $35 general admission; $25 students;
$125 VIP seating and meet and greet with performers.

In late January I performed, for the ninth time, at the Chicago Neil Diamond Birthday Party.

Prior to the Chicago booking I performed for two weeks in a casino production show in the Scottsdale / Phoenix area.

Friday, August 28: We drove to a private booking in Whiting NJ. The tickets were sold to capacity. The audience was so appreciative. Thank you, Shelly, and everyone who made the show so much fun.
Torrential rainstorms didn't stop us from another private booking.
Marion and I always enjoy these events because the audience is very appreciative.
Thank you to everyone at The Four Seasons for your hospitality.
On August 12, 2009 I performed outdoors at the TDBank Amphitheater in Bensalem Township, NJ. The crowd was enormous and the audience great...and sat through torrential rain for the show. Most stayed, and for that I am grateful and happy. Thanks, everyone.
On August 10: performed three shows at Knoebels Family Amusement Park in Elysburg, PA.
Marion and the family joined me.
Knoebel's Amusement Park is America's largest no-admission park and it is absolutly gorgeous.
Flowers, shady areas, benches...and very reasonable prices for rides AND food.
Not only did Marion, Therese and her Kevin attend, but my mother, Rita, and many from the Ryan clan were there, as well.
In addition, several old friends came to visit. You can see some of them in the photos below:
Brandon Davis: only 15 but a big ND fan! |
Donny, Denise, Tom, Butch and Debbie.
Longtime and special friends.

Performing first show: 87 degrees in the shade. |
Backstage fun with Therese and Kevin McG |
The final curtain: 9:30 PM |
August means Atlantic City, NJ to our family.
Why do we love Atlantic City? The ocean, the casinos, The Boardwalk....unbeatable. Mixing pleasure with business is always fun there.
Marion, Therese, Fred and Katrina all accompanied me and our stay at Resorts Casino was a pleasure.
My recent appearances in St. Louis (public) and Corning (private) afforded me to meet up with old friends and new.
Thank you to Sherry and everyone who came out to see my shows!
July 11th: we made yet another trip to Connecticut. Joey and the band and I performed at an annual fundraiser.
I also performed at a private party in Avon CT.
July 4th: I performed at the Burlington County Amphitheater. This has been at least my 5th year and it gets better every year.
June: multiple private bookings including two in the Phoenix AZ area.
Manhattan New York City NY:
The Mike & Juliet Show:
THis jaunt to Manhattan, via a chauffeur-driven limosine, was SO much fun.
Three other celebrity impersonators (as Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Stevie Tyler) AND a group of talented and friendly professionals made my appearance very memorable
The celebrity judges were Chuck Nice, Clinton Kelly (of What Not To Wear) and Michelle Collins.
Michelle was very complimentary about my performance on her blog. Thank you!
Performing in the small but very friendly community of Streator, IL. In Streator I performed at a Catholic fundraiser. It was a lot of fun and the hospitality was wonderful. Too many to mention, but I do have to thank Lori and her family and Jeff and his, as well. Till we meet again!
Summer 2009 was VERY busy for the Tom Sadge family!

I have had the honor of performing frequently at the Isle of Capri.
Thank you to my friends who showed up to support me.
The show at The Broadway Theatre of Pitman NJ was a sold-out success!
Working with Jay and the Americans, Kid Kyle and The Bronx Wanderers was a great experience. Thank you to the band, Joey, Pat, and to those who worked so hard to make this event a success. Much later the band and I took a quick trip to quick trip Atlantic City - always a lot of fun.
If you think it's chilly in your neck of the woods, you should travel to the beautiful, but very, very cold, town of Iqaluit in the Canadian Province of Nunavut.
I first performed there in 2009 and will return in 2010
It's cold there but the hospitality is very warm in this Canadian town.
Iqaluit is closer to Greenland than I've ever been, and it was about 30 degrees BELOW zero during my trip there to visit and entertain. The record low is about 50 below for February.
Photos of the people of Iqaluit with Tom Sadge are courtesy of Annie Manning
I am grateful for the hospitality shown to me through Allen and the other new friends I made while visiting the capitol city of Nunavut!
Just prior to my travels through Ottawa and Nunavut, I entertained at a private booking near Hilton Head, South Carolina. When Marion picked me up at the AVP airport I told her the 35 degree temperatures in S.C. felt like a heatwave compared to the 6 degrees Farenheit air that greeted me at home!
Previously I was in Manhattan for a private fundraiser. New York City is always exciting, but performing before such an appreciative crowd made my trip to this great city even more rewarding.
Thank you to everyone from the beautiful Jewish Community Center for you hospitality and enthusiasm.
Many of our visitors ask, "When will you be performing in Atlantic City NJ or at an East Coast public venue again?"
Atlantic City's Hilton Casino Resort is where I performed as Neil Diamond in A Really Big Shew! (Special page put together by Marion, with photos: Hilton Casino - A Really Big Shew.
Marion, Therese and I enjoyed visiting with friends and family members who traveled to Atlantic City to see A Really Big Shew. I was part of an outstanding cast of seasoned entertainers: Hendrick (plate spinner and Neon Man); Glenn Singer, comedien (El Gleno Grande - the funniest visual act ever!); Jeff DeHart (impressionist and impersonator of Ed Sullivan); Pete Michaels (ventriloquist, comedien, and singer) and, of course Topo Gigio (brought to life by Pete). The show ran through January 22nd. It was great seeing Bernice and Gary, Annie and Frank, Jim, Leo and Theresa, Anne W., Rita (mom!) and a few other familiar faces, as well!
I frequently perform at NJ casinos and theatre.
Perhaps you caught my show at The Broadway Theater in Pitman NJ?
COUNTING MY BLESSINGS...
Being an entertainer often means uncertainty and, in the past, a great deal of time spent away from home, friends, family and loved ones. As part of paying my dues in show business, I have had to perform in productions and shows in places such as Phoenix - Scottsdale AZ, Las Vegas, Jackpot & Laughlin NV, Atlantic City NJ, Pigeon Forge - Gatlinburg TN and elsewhere. Bookings have necessitated that I live part of each month on both the East Coast and the West Coasts of the United States.
I thank God that I am in demand for many private appearances, private parties and limited engagement shows.
This means less time away from by beloved family: Marion, Therese and Fred & his fiance Katrina.
