DelRain - Another great band...
Be prepared to be moved by DelRain's unforgettable music and lyrics...

Hi, I'm Fred Sadge.

Like my dad, Tom Sadge, I have a passion for music.

Right now I, along with fellow band members Barrett Glodzik (rhythym guitar) and Justin Jacek (lead guitar), am working hard at helping to make FREE BEER one the the best acoustic cover bands in NEPA.

We are a relatively new band, but we have already become a part of the nightlife in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Some of the venues::

  • Gabriella's, Pittston
  • The Apple Tree, Harding PA
  • T.C. Riley's, Dallas PA
  • Paddy's Irish Pub & Eatery
  • Joe Shag's - Pittston Township
  • The Borderline - Duryea
  • The Brickhouse Dupont
  • Fahey's - Pittston
  • More to come!

We are currently working on a video of FREE BEER performing live.
Check back very soon.

In the meantime, here is a video of our previous band, EARLY FALL, playing the cover of "Road House Blues" by The Doors on YOUTUBE.com - HERE - Part 1 AND and Part 2

EARLY FALL - morphed into the current acoustic band, FREE BEER - covered the music of the best of rock and roll. Band members were the same as FREE BEER, but with the addition of Tommy Wilbur on bass and Josh Jaced on drums.

FREE BEER's songs include the best of the vintage rock hits like Road House Blues (Jim Morrison and The Doors), Simple Man (Lynyrk Skynyrd), Turn the Page (Bob Seger) and current hits, as well. FREE BEER's most recent performance was at The Brickhouse in Dupont, PA. We also perform frequently at The Borderline in Duryea, The Shire in Avoca, Fahey's in Pittston, and Joe Shag's in Pittston Township.

Personal Stuff...

Photo of Fred Sadge in Philadelphia in front of the famous LOVE sculpture. I'm 24, engaged to my lovely Katrina, and work full-time in addition to my gigs with the band. With age comes wisdom: I have two years of college and plan on returning for my degree.
Like my fellow band mates, I'm a graduate of the one and only Seton Catholic High School in Pittston. Yep, that's where we met. And yep, the boys are all at least half-Irish.... What other ethnic group would name themselves FREE BEER?

Between my part-time jobs, my band, and writing music, I keep busy.

Early Days...

From early 2002 thru 2003, while still in high school, I performed background vocals, rhythym guitar, and symthesizer for Electrie Candy Shop, a very popular original-music band based in NEPA. ECS's latest CD, entitled Symphony on Saturn, features three of my original compositions: Nebula, Furniture of the Mind, and Shadow of the Cross. All of the songs on the CD are great, and I'm proud to have been an integral part of the band.

Fred Sadge is pictured in 2003 as he performed in the popular NEPA original-music band, Electric Candy Shop

In order to devote more time to creating my own music and getting a better college education, I made the difficult decision to leave the band in October 2003. The guys and the band were great, but there isn't enough time to do everything well. I wish the very best for the remaining members of the band.

One of my dreams is to someday compose music for movies. I spend a lot of time now writing and recording music, in addition to practicing with EARLY FALL.

The musician who has influenced me most is Ken Andrews. Been listening to his music, including Failure, since grade school.

Since the first time I heard his music, I wanted to meet Ken Andrews in person. That dream became a reality when I traveled with friends to Philadelphia a few years met the man himself. It was an unforgettable experience.
